The official supported library for FriendFeed is in Python. Since none of our current code base is Python we have to modify our configuration to support it. That plus getting up to speed on the project has pushed out the beta date. September 4th is our current estimate. If you signed up for the free trial because you wanted to backup FriendFeed, but you don’t want to convert to a paid customer until you can try out the FriendFeed backup, send us a note and we will extend your free trial.
