Two changes have been released to the twitter backup section of Lifestreambackup. First, we backup your friends and followers, each in a separate XML file. This is still just a snapshot backup and not an archive at various points in time, but that functionality is coming.
The second major change is some new CSS applied to the backup so that it is easier to read. When we first launched we were focused mainly on keeping the data in a format that made it easy to deal with if we had to restore an account. Our users, however, have expressed a strong interest in being able to read the backup in some form other than XML. Actually, it was our number one requested feature.
So if you haven’t checked your twitter archives in a while, you should login to your archives page and see the new changes. Let us know what you think.
