Imindi Loses User Data

by Rob on May 28, 2009

Techcrunch is reporting that Imindi.com accidentally deleted all user accounts. We don’t yet support Imindi, so there isn’t much we can do to help Imindi users recover their accounts. But, this is a great example of why you should back up your lifestream.

Any service that you use regularly builds up a large amount of data over time. If that service is even marginally important, it will be a pain to have to go through and restore all that data on your own. Lifestreambackup can solve that problem.

In coming months, we also plan to build our own API so that new services can tap into it from the beginning and allow their users to backup their accounts with us.
